Generally refers to a hat with a brim. There are mainly hats, hats and the following varieties.
Panama Hat: A light-colored straw hat made of bleached fibers from Central and South American palm leaves. Hats for men and women to escape the summer heat. Named after its main distribution center, Panama.
Dutch hat: A traditional Dutch woman’s hat with a crown tip, brim turned back or side flares.
Mexican Hat: A straw or woolen hat with a wide brim and a high top. Popular in Spain, Mexico and South America.
Sailor Cap: A small cap with the brim turned up over the entire circle. Also known as sailor hat. Usually the crown is four pieces, cut into a hemispherical shape. From the garb of American soldiers.
Napoleon hat: A hat with the front and rear brim folded upwards for easy portability. Also known as double-cornered hat. The main hat type of the Napoleonic era. Now it is the cap for the honor guards of the US, UK and French navies.
Robin Hood Hat: A cap with a pointed crown and a high brim folded from the back to the sides. It is named after the legendary hero Robin Hood in the 12th century.
Sun hat: The crown of the hat is round, and the brim extends around the mouth of the hat, and there are steel bars around it. There are two kinds of folding and not folding. In China, it is a hat often worn by young women in summer.
Straw hat: A rain-proof sunshade hat that resembles a sun hat. Wheat straw and other plant stems are woven into a wire and then processed into shape.
Pot cap: The cap is made of fiber fabric, lined with cork stiffeners, or a pot-shaped cap made of palm leaves.
